Recipe: Smokey Baba Ganoush Dip

If you're planning a BBQ before the end of summer then this smokey aubergine dip is a great accompaniment, perfect with a selection of mezze dishes or simply as a side dip. It's very simple to make and has a lovely smokey taste, you can also cook the aubergines under a grill but nothing beats that charred smokey BBQ flavour.  Ingredients:  3 Aubergines 1 tbsp tahini Juice of half a lemon 2 cloves of garlic 1 tsp cumin 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil flat-leaf parsley A pinch of salt and black pepper Method:  1.  Prick the aubergines and place on the grill over the BBQ, making sure to turn frequently so all sides get nice and charred. Recipe: Buckwheat and Cashew Cream Pancakes

These pancakes are the perfect dish for a weekend treat, they are vegan and gluten free as well as easy peasy to make. They are the most heavenly mix of fluffy pancakes; creamy cashew, tart berries and the sweetness of honey. Visit: Stourhead – Looking for Mr Darcy

If you love historic places, beautiful scenery and countryside then there is no better place to visit than Stourhead. Nestled in the greens of the Wilshire countryside, Stourhead is a feast for the eyes and when we climbed up to the viewing point, believe me when I say it took our breaths away. I tend to be in awe of pretty much everything but it takes a lot to take Scott ‘s breath away, but this did it! A tip is to get there as soon as it opens before the crowds filter in. Visit: Mottisfont Walled Gardens

If you love roses and pretty gardens then you really need to pay a visit to the walled rose gardens at Mottisfont, Hampshire this June. There is something a bit magical about a walled garden.
